1.Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risk.

　　　深い愛情や偉大なる成功には大きなリスクが伴うことを忘れないように


2. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.

　　　勝利をのがしても、そこから学んだことを教訓にすること

　　
3. Follow the three Rules: Respect for self; Respect for others; and Responsibility for all your actions.

　　　３つのRに従うこと：　
　　　　　・自分自身を敬いなさい
　　　　　・他人を敬いなさい
　　　　　・自分の行動全てに責任を持ちなさい

4. Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.
　
　　　欲しいものが得られないときは、時として幸運の訪れかもしれない


5. Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.
　
　　　ルールを学べば、そのルールを適切に破る方法がわかる　

6. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.

　　　ささいな口論から大切な関係にヒビが入っても、それを放っておかないように


7. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
　　
　　　間違いに気づいたら、それを正すための行動を即座に起こしなさい


8. Spend some time alone every day.
　
　　　毎日一人になる時間を持ちなさい


9. Open your arms to change, but don't let go of your values.
　　　　
　　　変わることを受け入れても、自分の価値観までも見失わないように


10. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
　　
　　　時には沈黙が最良の答えとなる

11. Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think back, you'll be able to enjoy it a second time.

　　　清く正しい人生を送りなさい。そうすればあなたが年をとって人生を振り返る時も、自分の送った人生を再び楽しむことができるから

12. A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your life.
　
　　　愛に満ちた家庭は、あなたの人生の基盤となる


13. In disagreements with loved ones, deal only with the current situation. Don't bring up the past.
　
　　　愛する者と意見が合わないとき、その時の問題だけを解決しなさい。過去のことを持ち出さないように


14. Share your knowledge. It's a way to achieve immortality.

　　　知識を分け合いなさい。それが不滅の道である


15. Be gentle with the earth.

16. Once a year, go someplace you've never been before.

　　　一年に一度は、行ったことのない所に行きなさい


17. Remember that the best relationship is one in which your love for each other exceeds your need for each other.

　　　最良の関係とは、お互いを愛する心がお互いを求め合う気持ちを超えることである


18. Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

　　　成功をどう評価するかは、成功するために何を手放したのかで評価しなさい


19. Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.
　
　　　　一心不乱に愛しなさい
